It is a sad day in history my friends. Buckle up, lock and load, and stay safe. I am armed and at the ready. It is wild here in chicago already. and we are well prepared.

    Yankees win ALCS.

Now if this would have been played in Iraq or Afganistan, the loosing team would have broken out their AKs and killed the other team.

It will be tough for a team with a weak offense to come back from two scores down. It can be done, but don't bet your first born.

Yup...[V] Grossman made some stupid play calls and fumbled the snap way too many times.

Grossman has had very little time to throw most of the time and, except for one run, has not had much support from the run game. The Indy defense has outplayed Chicago.

Grossman is gonna get a lot of flak over this and it isn't all his fault. He did blow quite a few plays but also didn't have good support from the run game at all. Colts diserve the win as they totally handled the Bears tonight.

No matter how good the defense, an NFL team simply cannot expect to win with a less-than-mediocre quarterback in this day and age. IMO, Rex Grossman simply does not belong in the NFL as a starting quarterback. Maybe riding the pines but not as a field general.

I enjoyed it too. The son called it for the COlts at 36 to 17, but was off one TD.

With all due respect, he could play another 20 years and still not develop the skillset that a quarterback needs to win. He has no fire in his belly, no sense of the hunt. He dutifully tries to execute what the sideline asks him to do. And, it was his teammates who continually helped him to overcome his glaring shortcomings enroute to getting to the Super Bowl. IMO, it was not on Grossman's back at all.

My humble prediction is that Grossman won't be in the NFL at all in two more years.

Just my opinion. No malice intended.

I expected the Colts to win, but I expected a much better game out of Chicago. Take away the first 15 seconds of the game, and they only scored 10 points in 4 quarters. I'm shocked!
