My company gives both days off holiday pay. I'll probally still work on Christmas eve and maybe even Christmas to make a even bigger paycheck, but it is entirely my choice. They don't post it in our holiday schedual, but they will also probally give us a half day paid on top of that also since they always do.

I love my company and they way they treat us, and in return I do my job to the best of my ability in the most timely manner I'm able.

    I'll be there.

Christmas before last I got a call of shots fired inside a residence. Turned out to be an idiot killing his girlfriend and himself. There were also several small kids in the house.

    Stupidity never takes a holiday.

Taking my last day of vacation on the 21st, go back the 26th. Will probably work New Year's Day (triple time), since I don't like to go out and get on the road with all those amateurs New Year's Eve.

Being a truck driver. My job requires the person/place recieving the goods be open for business also. I have a feeling I'll just be going for a ride on Christmas eve. Happens every holiday..
