Nissan Power Window Question
No, I am not planning to buy one.
A few weeks ago, I had to drive a Nissan Quest van to Dallas to take Bry to the doctor. His granny didn't want to drive in Dallas traffic, so I went and drove.
We parked the van and went in a restaurant to eat lunch before the appointment, and the windows were closed and the doors were locked. When we came back to the van, the doors were still locked, but both front windows were down about 6 inches. Both were down exactly the same amount. We parked it again at the doctor's office, but this time, the windows were still shut when we came back.
Last night, I was working a security detail at a concert. I took a tour of the parking area, and noticed a sporty car with both front windows open about 6 inches, exactly the same amount on each side. This was not in an area where it is smart to leave one's vehicle open. I checked the badge on the front of the car, and it was also a Nissan.
What would make the windows open by themselves?

As a guess, the vehicle opened the windows to prevent the computer from overheating. 0 -
I've owned several Nissans and never heard of one's windows rolling down automatically like that. 0
