Been dealing with cops my whole life. Never been talked too in anything but an honest professional manner and with complete respect, even when I was young.

Was this cop out of line? Yes. Did the kid have a bad and uncooperative attitude to start? Yes. Is this anywhere near "typical" cop behavior? Not anywhere that I've ever lived.

Let me put it this way,..........they are BOTH jackasses!
The cop needs to be checked out and punished, for sure.
The kid, or should I say,....young adult, needs to ditch the "evasive",.......I'm gonna push your buttons, attitude also!
The whole thing started when the cop asked him what he was doing.
Why didn't he say,......"I'm meeting my girlfriend here, to get my cellphone that I forgot, it's halfway between our places."
    Instead, he says, "nothing".
What rational human parks in an empty parking lot at 2AM, to do "nothing"?
If someone parked across the street from my house, on the empty lot that is there, at 2AM, and I go out to ask them WTH they are doing there,..........I sure as hell don't want to hear "nothing"!
Now you tell me you're waiting to meet someone to pick up an item, I go back to bed. Nothing, for an answer, gets a call to the police, or some "not so nice" behaviour, from me.
What is with the "crappy" smartazz attitude of younger people today?
    Why was that answer necessary?
Ditch the cop,.......but don't pretend this "kid" is representative of a normal, law-abiding citizen.

Txs- Brevity, as it was in a list of a bunch of other things I would try charging him with.Brevity? I can think of several other terms that better describe it.

You cut & pasted a state law that you'd edited most out of in order to twist it's meaning. When you were called on it you made a feeble attempt at arguing he was guilty, but of the parts of this law that you're now saying you deleted because you felt posting them wasn't really necessary. That's nonsensical.

Face it, it's obvious to everyone here that you attempted to mislead them into believing you knew what you were talking about. Apparently you just don't get it, but your continued lame attempts at back-pedaling are simply underscoring this.

You're in no position to condemn anyone for untruthfulness, including the azz-hat being discussed. If you need a job I hear they have an opening at St. George PD. You seem to have some of the traits they're looking for.
