We got the majority of it up tonite....that is where I (and the rest of the family) have been instead of posting on the computer. I still have LOTS hanging in the trees.

It was my oldest girl's friends. Boy could they throw!!!!

I knew a few folks that got rolled like we did.....but I have to admit they didn't do any of the mean things.

Some of the things I have heard of:

Stuffing wads of paper under the mower deck....so when the mower is started it blows it all over the place.

Slinging Q-tips all over the place....these cannot be raked up so you have to pic them up one by one.

Putting fruit loops all over the grass (this stains the grass rainbow colors.)

Punching holes in paper....saving and bagging up the little round circles...and spreading them around the whole yard.

Poking plastic forks in the grass all over the yard.

Pilling pumpkins all over the drive that have been collected from all around.

There are more, but those were the odd things I have heard kids doing to each other out here.

Back when I was working at the grocery store in high school, we would card people buying toilet paper around this time of the year, and write down the names of the people who bought the big packages.

In our area this is all done in fun and hardly ever is this out of spite. You can tell who has teenage kids in the homes as you drive around....its really funny. There is an adult or two that get it as well, like the coaches, teachers, and faculty of the school.

LF if your daughter really wants to get somebody go to Sam's or Costco.....you think it's hard getting q-tips out of the yard?? Try 400lbs of rice....hahahaha yeah we did it. You can buy it in 100 lbs bags and it's not that expensive...and it is almost impossible to get out of the yard.

All done in fun. At least no one was destoying someones property. Kids around here don't Holloween anymore. They do more TP'ing at homecoming here. When I was a kid we moved everything that wasn't nailed down. We never tore anything up, just moved things. We use to move anhydrous ammonia tanks from the local co-op to block the streets in town. Do that today and you will probably get quite a bit of jail time, since that's one of the ingredients for Meth.

They possibly used the modern high speed method.

A leaf blower with a roll of TP on the end will launch this stuff way up into trees. Noisy, but highly effective. [:D]
