    You can have a case failure in any gun. As a matter of fact I have had it happen to me, but I didnt throw my gun on the ground like that knucklehead.

    Maybe yours wasn't a Glock. When it happens with a Glock, the frame breaks, right in your hand. Very disconcerting.

    Had a frame break on a 1911A1 many long years ago. Wasn't due to a case failure but befuddled me for a couple of minutes. No, I did not throw this pistol on the ground.

    i've seen it happen to 2, 1911's, one was a squib, the second was a double charge which blew the magazine out along with the grips slicing the guys hand open good

    i saw one glock kb with a double charge, it did blow the mag out, and a few internal parts that went right back in, and you really couldn't tell unless you looked real close to see a hair line crack in the frame, glock repaired it, and had it back to him in 9 days

    none of them even dropped their gun let alone throw it down, there is no telling what the idiot had it loaded with

    Actually it was a Glock. It thumped my hand real hard and blackened my fingers, but the frame didnt break. Iam still shooting that gun.

    had a over charge fact 45acp reload blow my mag out into my hand on a 1911A1. only damage was to the mag and good slap in the palm gun and barrel no damage , maybe this is why i dont have a glock

    He had some damage to that hand - I'd thrown it, too, but much farther!

    Wouldn't have been mine, anyway - I wouldn't own one.

    My guess would be somewhere in the Phillipines. Handgunning is actually pretty popular there.
