    some data:

owner is registered as Chris G. Carlos

14,511 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and a 5,438 square foot basement.

Maybe he's converted that into an indoor pool.

BTW his last annual property tax was $37,613.64.

If you own a home like that do you really think a $2000 water bill is going to bother him?

Seems to me I remember that Barbra Streisand uses some gigantic amount of water each month at her Bel Aire mansion too. I know CA isn't having a drought but the same priciple pertains. That is that the rich can do whatever they want, and besides I don't think either one is breaking any law.

What does he do, turn on all the faucets and let it run down the drain? One person only uses so much water, even if they take long showers. The other big user would be washing clothes. Wonder how many people live there?

Very well said. He better not leave his house or he may get a "talking to." Sad thing is most people don't even realize, or when the do don't care, how much of everything they waste-water, gas, ect. I try to use as little as possible and I'm not being told to conserve

You can pack 500-600 illegals in a place that big. ICE needs to check for green cards. [}:)]

I bet he has a huge indoor marijuana operation.
That hydroponic growing uses lots of water.

Who cares? If he's willing to pay the price, it's his money and he pays for the water.

That's true, but water is a finite resource.

His demand is decreasing the supply.

At some point, everyone ELSE is going to have to pay more because this guy is using all of it up.

Just close his curb valve down so he just gets a trickle. That way you are not denying service but limiting it. So whatif it takes all day to fill the bath tub.

The majority of the water is most likely used for the pool and the landscape.

That hydroponic growing uses lots of water.Water is recirculated until the nutrient levels drop below a certain amount, then fresh water is needed.

No hydroponic setup needs ~600 gallons per hour.
