    His statement is a trojan horse. He's trying to open the door for people to see that his "religion" isn't all that bad.

    I enjoy some of Travolta's film characters, but otherwise prefer that he just STFU.

    I can't stand Travolta or Cruise. Belive what you want as long as your religion does not lead you to blow up planes and kill anyone who disagrees with you. Go ahead, be a scientologist, jahova's witness, etc. but I really don't want to hear about it.

    John Travolta and the rest of his Scientologist goons may all be a bumch of creepy weirdos, but they just may be onto something in their distaste for psychopharmacology. I've seen I don't know how many people put on brain medicine they didn't really need because they were lazy, the doctors were lazy and greedy and the drug companies convinced all involved that popping pills was the way to happiness.

    I don't think an all-out condemnation on the industry and profession are in order, but maybe a little scrutiny of this wouldn't be a bad idea, the source notwithstanding.
