Another protest.

Some family from Kansas is coming to town to protest the funeral of Corporal Cody Putnam who was killed in Iraq on the 12th.

Viewing today, funeral tomorrow.

This pisses me off so bad.

    They are the scum from the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas. They are also prostesting at one of the Virginia Tech funerals today and tomorrow.

    Organize a counter protest. We did that when they came here to Ft. Bliss to protest a memorial service and they left very quickly.

    Unfortunately we here in Topeka have to put up with this family cult living here. They are all lawyers and so sue happy that they have the local government intimidated. I see them protesting local churches and businesses on a regular basis. They have a website called Godhatesamerica.com and list their picketing schedule there. They are basically attention wh0r3s looking for free publicity for their anti-gay cause.

    I'll donate $100 for the legal defense of anyone who gets caught "taking out the trash"

    I bet they'd never find a prosecuter willing to take it to court (it would be political suicide) nor a jury that would convict them

    shame---shame---shame...bigtire has got it right, but it amazes me that something anonymously long distance at night hasn't happened to these scum...i don't agree with what a lot of politics is happening but to add an irrelevant insult to a family's grief is disgusting...
