Sigh. This is SO easy to explain.

Last week I was changing the oil in the UFO that JFK, Jimmy Hoffa, Elvis and Kenneth Lay fly around in. I knew that I forgot to replace that oil cap, and, well, gravity does have an effect on something not using anti-gravity mechanics...

quote:Brightman said one man who lives at the home found the object at about 9 p.m. Tuesday after returning from work and hearing from his mother that something had crashed through the roof a few hours earlier.a metal object the size of a soup can falls from outer space, crashes through the roof, bounces off a tile floor and gets stuck in a wall, and the lady didn't bother to go see what the noise was?? o-k

I wonder, if it is a meteorite, will the homeowner get to keep it? Or, will the good old government confiscate it in the name of national security or something like that? Could be worth money.......or the price of a nice shotgun. [:)][:)]

Its probably a piece of a satellite who knows how much junk is floating around up there waiting to come crashing down. What doesn't burn up on reentry has gotta hit somewhere.

As for value, this depends on it's rarity and what part of the galaxy it came from.
