The guy that played Iliya on TMFU is also on the CBS show NCIS. His character is Dr. Mallard aka "ducky" the medical examiner. Actor name is David Maccullum (check for spelling)

Who sang the actual WKRP theme song?

Not the cool, rockin' gibberish at the end, but the actual theme song?

I just found it in our station's database.

    Bonanza answers:

    Elizabeth mother of Adam
    Inger mother of Hoss (Haus)
    Marie mother of Little Joe

Which actor on the Bonanza series was an aspiring author? He wrote a fictional piece for the December 1970 issue of what magazine?

I think the Barney Miller actor was James Gregory. Was he Carney's brother?

I think Mr. Rutherford was played by the same actor who played Mel Cooley on Dick van Dyke, Richard Deacon.

My best trivia question is what was Rob Petrie's middle name on the Dick van Dyke Show (not Ritchie, Rob's middle name)?

SP: #1....yes #2 OK, but I remember him as Morris The Cat (vioce).
Mr. Magoo voice was Jim Backus (Thurston Howell III) in Gilligans Is.

Eddie Haskell (wiseguy kid) in Beaver went on to a career as Calif. state trooper. Wally Cleaver went on to do porn movies. I always wondered why he walked funny.

Movie Shane (1953) shows Ellen Corby-Grandma Walton, Nancy Culp-Bev. Hillbillies secretary. Movie is one of the reasons Colt re-opened SAA production.

More, as they come to the forefrunt. Joe

Who did the network originally want to cast as Archie Bunker in All in the Family?

  • givette
Royc38: I'm drawing a blank. Dont want to do a search on the topic. No fun that way. All I remember is that it is someone you wouldn't imagine fulfilling that character depiction. I'll give it a wild stab.....Bob Newhart? Jerry Van Dyke? It was someone along this strain of thought, I think......Joe

Don't know about Harry Chapin, but Steve Carlisle did the theme song. I was poking around in the computer the other day and found it. I was looking for the end-credit theme song for my show closer. I didn't find it...
