Wifes letter from her Dr.
After having to send a certified letter to find out WTH was going on...
Dr. states: I apologize your test results were not conveyed to you.
It seems it would have been better if I had scheduled a follow up appointment upon my return.( from her vacation )
When the results came in from you biopsy it was assumed you had a follow up appointment.
On a serious note how competant is the Dr... by not scheduling a follow up appointment on a serious matter? BTW.. My wife has gotten another Dr. scheduled this coming Monday after we spent yesterday at the hospital.

Gary, the lab we use gives us the results along with sending them to all our doctors.. I know before the doctor what my test results are.
My doctor sets up the tests and immediatly sets an appointment within a week after the tests. Most times there is no need to keep the follow up appointment unless the tests show something negative.

each individual is responsible for the quality of their health care...never assume it will be done correctly...and carry in hand all info needed at the next stop... 0
