Dumb idea ?
What do you folks think about this?
I am loking for a easy way to carry a gun, any gun. I was looking at ankle holsters, not that I could use one myself, cant bend without tipping. Anyway I got the idea that I could get the ankle holster and use it on my forearm. I wear loose sleeves on my shirts so it may not be very noticable. Any drawbacks that I am over looking? Any other ideas? Sugestions? Feed back will be rewarded with good carma.
Thanks for your time, David.

I have looked at and tried some of the fanny packs but found them to bevery uncomfortable when sitting in the wheelchair. May wind up using one do to lack of anything better.
Thanks for your input, you good carma is on the way. [:o)]0 -
Doesn't sound like a bad idea. Give one a try. 0 -
could you conceal it somehow to the chair? 0 -
My wheelchair has no sides to it, just folding arms. What I have been doing is to tip forward and set the pistol between my back and the seat. It is easy to reach but after a short time it makes a sore spot on my back and I am worried about a pressure wound. 0 -
In the winter I carry a blankie [8D] I can hide anything under it. 0 -
Stinger Pen Gun in your breast pocket.
Have a sling on the back with a umbrella. Have a .38 inside the umbrella. The umbrella only provides concealment and ease of pull to the front.
Armrest has a knife hidden under it.
I've put some thought into it....I'll be back in PA and in a wheelchair in 24 months.
My PA concealed carry is current.0 -
How about a "Bellyband" holster with a non-snag smooth auto or a hammerless "Snubby"?

wondered if you could handle a small 22 auto...i have a small sterling 22 auto in a lite cloth velcro lip & clip pouch ..or smallest is probably a naa 22mag single action 5 shot revolver(safety hammer slots between chambers)...either of these would work in the forearm holster idea which i like...lite, outa sight, not hindering your movement...have had a shoe shop stitch up some lite leather goodies for similar use...be comfortable, be empowered 0
