Hunting land in Kansas
For those of you that know, What are the best counties in Kansas for
deer hunting? I would like to look for a farm to buy to use for hunting. Thanks Vince

Morris, Chase, Waubunsee(sp?),Lyon,Geary, Riely(sp?), Potawatamee. All I'm familiar with are those located in the Flint Hills. 0 -
recreation use & irrigation drive land prices in rural kansas...stafford co. had open dryland farm ground 160a bring $1500 acre.... just had 160 acres with a water right of 217 ac/ft bring $2340 acre...lots of good hunting here for deer & turkey....a Dr. type from new mexico has purchased 480 acres close to me....deep pockets....most deer on my place at one time 114, most turkey seen in a bunch about 400.... have one 120 acre patch with creek thru it two ponds with cased wells & electricity available & within 1 mile of highway & just watching my retirement grow 0
