90 update #6...oh no!
well you saw the reciever sides in #5, started the bbl tonight and found...
more wavey sanding! flat spots all over the barrel!
seems they sanded the tube LONG-WAYS instead of staying round it is dozens of flat flutes all over the place...sigh.
sure glad i got the digi-cam to have all these before/after comparrisons, what a different gun this will be!

WOW!!!! I hope you don't run into any more suprises....you are so good at catching these details. 0 -
pretty hard to miss when you start sanding off the old blue...not so easy when the blueing is covering the high/low spots. would take a real close look at the bbl surface to notice then.
sanding around it tho the blue stays longer in the low spots0 -
last barrel job was 12" for 357 SAA...threaded, 11* forcing cone, rebate end convex style , ejector housing screw hole 6x48, set at 0.004 cylinder gap, & polished with electric drill with flex pad & sticky 600 grit discs while spinning....smooooooth 0
