Hyundai Tiburon
Well I gave my son my 2001 Mustang GT for his first car . He had it for a while and says "im not comfortable with this its too much car for me ".. I couldnt believe it .. So I sold it and now looking at a Hyundai Tiburon 2003 , 37,000 miles , automatic , not the GT model .. Anybody with an experience with these ? He likes it , the mileage is right and gas is much better than the Mustang ... Thanks

They are nice cars and have been increasing their reliability steadly. If you get a good price I think you will enjoy your Hyundai!

I have no experience with any Hyundai, but it looks like over the last few years, Hyundai has really pulled up its pants and starting make some nice cars. My dad rented one once and I have to say I was impressed, wood and leather, comfy, quiet and quick. I just keep thinking Hyundai Excel.. 0 -
We have an '06 Tiburon right now. Bought it new. Nothing but good things to say for it. I used to work for Hyundai's Service Department.
They're quality and reliability have gone up 10 fold in the last 5-6 years. They're really making a car that can compete with Honda and Toyota as far as reliability goes.
While the 4cyl is certainly not a sports car(we have a 4cyl), the money you'll save in maintenance and fuel will make your decision even easier. And you'll find, as we did, that the 4cyl can get and go just fine for what you need it for. Hell the V6 only pushes like 30 more Horsepower than the 4. The 4 cyl also has plenty of torque. Passing and getting on the interstate are never a problem.
At 30k miles the recommended service cost about $380 on the V6, $120 on the 4cyl.
My dad and I came back from the Cub game last August running 100+mph(had to unless I wanted to get run over), with the A/C cranked and still got 30mpg.

Yes I agree but atleast he's honest and hopefully wont get hurt in a scaled down car from the GT .. He can always drive my Vette .. Thanks for all the advice guys .. Im going to buy it for him .. I can get it for $8000 books at $10,500. thanks again ! 0 -
