Well, that's my point. SOME people sell guns here. Others just list guns for sale when they don't really have them to sell.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the one car I have for sale is available in a variety of colors.

This is just one of those cases where the world as it is does not match your idea of what it should be. Sadly, it's happening in a privately owned enterprise so.....

    adapt or.....

nah. love it or leave it.

I'm sorry you missed the point. I really am. It's really kinda sad, though... Kinda makes me want to give up hope.

Joining this forum seemed like such a good idea. Oh well.. adios.

You get the same thing in any store....

Sears list something in a flyer...you go to the store or call..and guess what?????? ...none in stock, even though it was advertised as being on sale etc....

Personalized service?.....think you are special huh?...[}:)][:o)][}:)]

I think I should introduce myself....

Hello there actionherotrainee!!! I am Locust Fork and I sell guns... 99% of my auctions are "penny no reserve"...everything I sell on line is set aside and NOT for sale in my store...I have great feedback (only TWO twits so far)...and only one guaranteed scratch on my items!

You are not alone, but those are the rules on this site. I too get tired of sifting through the junk listings to find the REAL auctions.

Maybe you should look at it this way, All those junk listings help support the site and keep it going.

The auction site is open for individuals and professional dealers to use. The penny auctions are fun but most sellers get nervous about the possibility of selling a gun for a penny (happened once to my knowledge and yes the dealer sold the gun for a penny). New and used items are offered and some retailers do use the site for offering retail items at retail prices.

The beautiful part about all of this is that you as the consumer are free to participate in those sales and auctions that interest you and eschew (I love that word and use every chance I get) those that don't interest you. Just because YOU aren't interested in some of these things doesn't mean that there aren't others who ARE interested in them. If there weren't then the items would soon disappear from lack of buyers.

This is called the free-market system. Buyers and sellers enter and leave the market at will and nobody is forcing you to participate. If you don't like some auctions, ignore them. However, complaining about auctions is prohibited under the posting guidelines for the discussion forum. Welcome to the forum, BTW, but this topic is locked.
