I will be watching the Indy 500 (the only Indy car race that I go out of my way to watch) and the CocaCola 600!

While it is all going on I will be smokeing a big ol pork butt! [:D]

    An I'll be trying to stay juuust this side of drunk, full and orderly, watching both races too.

    GO KASEY KAHNE! I've been watching him since he was 15, up here in WA.

    I don't care who wins Indy, I just want to see more of Danica!!

    Actually I think Dannika is better looking!

    Mostly because I am a sucker for short women. And Dannika is barely over 5 foot tall!

    1pm eastern time for indy to start. I don't know about the weather there as our local news in only talking about the 600 because it is a local race.

    Tks, fellas. Just a tidbit....I've seen Formula I racing conducted at the speedway at Indy. Is it tradition for F. one to race in a clockwise circle? The Indy this afternoon will be counter-clockwise turns. Just thinking out loud.....Joe

    LMAO...since when is "Follow-the-Leader" the best race? Zero lead changes is not an interesting race. I'm an open wheel racer to the bone but F1 lost it's attraction 8 years ago.

    I will be watching the 600, but not the 500. For some reason, these dumb Indianians decide to show the 500 at night instead of live. The 600 wins hands down to a boring 500 mile race.

    While this is F1's premeir race, it does get boring....after the 1st turn the only changes in position is from pit stragedy or someone crashing/breaking down.


    The better F1 races are coming, Montreal and Spa

    A few sprinkles here in scenic Lizton. I'm about 20 miles west of the track. It's dead calm out right now. This stuff isn't going anywhere for a while.

    I agree, love the short gals. 5'4" or less and I am smitten!

    It would be fun to see a gal place high, or win!

    Well it's getting brighter here and the rain stopped a half hour ago in Lizton. I can't believe these guys are talking about calling the race. So what if it takes 2 hours to dry the track. With IN finally going back to DST this year - the first since I was a young man - we still have about 5 hours of daylight left.
