Weird email from Gunbroker

As you can see by my posts, I'm a noob to this forum. In fact, this is only my 2nd post. But, this morning I got an email through Gunbroker.com Message Forums from "Son12". This email is rather lengthy, but the main details were this born-again Christian lady on the Ivory Coast, lost her husband and she herself only has 6 months to live. She wants to make ME the beneficiary of the $7.5 million her husband has in the bank. Yea, right, she doesnt know me, and I am not a Christian to boot! Anyone else get this email?

    She doesnt want money from me, she wants me to reply so she can give me the information to the bank that has the $7.5mil. [:p]

    Yea, I never saw a sticky, or any other thread about this......which is why I posted about it.

    I know its a scam, I've seen plenty of them. Since I am new here, and didnt see any thread about it, I was trying to give everyone a headsup. [;)]

    Criminals who prey on the elderly, the uninformed and the foolish send these messages out regularly. They send 10,000 hoping one poor confused soul responds so they can rip off some money.

    Unfortunately, Internet sources for email addresses (such as GB) are used by these crooks to try their illegal schemes. We are all aware of this situation and we all get these fraud attempts quite frequently.

    Just delete such messages. It's not necessary to post warnings.
