Wait Til Poofer Nunn Goes to Work......UPDATE!!
Sadly, a religous topic got locked ultra fast. We made the mistake of posting the topic, apparently, before Poofer Nunn left for work. To make sure this doesn't happen again, I have installed a spy cam near Mr. Nunn's driveway. When he leaves for work, I will notify everyone and we can get back to posting about religion. OK?
BTW, DO NOT TELL NUNN ABOUT THIS!
My spy cam just showed Nunn pulling out of his driveway. He was in his own personal vehicle, but in full uniform so I assume he has left his home (and computer) to work the 4-midnight shift. For the next 8 hours we are free to post all the religous topics we want.
HIT IT BOYS!

Religious topics wouldn't be a problem if we had a religon forum. Then all the name calling and mud slinging would be confined to one place. Anyone could choose to view it or not. That worked pretty well with our politics forum.

You are correct Od. The only problem is that sometimes the topic line isn't clear as to what the post is actually about. Sure we could just move away from the topic but once started it's hard to not get involved.

You are right Doug but as we all know the forum is just a "free extra" to GB. They don't make any money (except possibly for the "shameless plugs" now and then.
New forums cost money and server space. What I should have suggested is to combine the religion and politics forum. No extra cost to GB & the same outspoken folks can enjoy it regardless of the topic.
With regard to contributing to the possible religion and politics forum - as my late dad used to tell me ... let's agree to disagree with each other's opinion - no matter how wrong you are!0 -

Here's one theory.
