I had not shipped a hand gun in several years. Shipped one from Florida to Nebraska today, valued at $300 and the cost was
$69.67 in one of their (fed-x) small boxes. WOW! I guess I just have not been paying attention!

Yup, I have to send a pistol to a friend in MD, and it looks like I will have to pay somewhere around $90 for it if I do it myself. Going to an FFL and having him ship it, looks like it's a lot cheaper that way. 0 -
I have my FFL ship USPS for handguns.
Do it yourself, and pay out the "wazoo"!
Half the time too, if it is an auction, the buyer gets pissed thinking you are ripping them a new one!0 -

That is why I use my FFL,........with him, about 35 to 40 bucks, insured.
Go the do it yourself route,.....from 55 bucks and up, depending upon all of the "variables".[xx(]

Take it to an FFL, have him ship it to the other FFL, USPS Priority. 9 bucks Flat Rate.
Even UPS Next Day Saver is less than 60 bucks.
I don't know where some of these folks are getting these numbers, unless you're taking to a 3rd party "Mail Box Plus" or something like that, where you've got to pay HIS fees too.

You guys that use your FFL for these services the same guys that drive 40 miles to Gander Mountain to get your shells $2.00 cheaper than the same local dealer has them for ? 0
