    If my church's pastor was all bug-eyed like that, well, I might have to find someplace else to worship.

    I think it would be rude to bust out laughing during the service.

    I used to fund the Catholic Church until they started paying off all the people the queer priests fondled, then I decided I had better things to do with the money.

    Hardly anything as only a percentage go towards the actual charity or cause. The rest goes towards admin, operations, overhead, etc.

    Personally, I make it a point to give to food banks wherever I can, the Salvation Army, etc. Food and clothing are key with me. After those, shelters and missions or food kitchens.

    I invest in GOD's economy out of Charity (love), and reap a very sizable return. [:D] In other words I give and am very blessed. [:)]

    I can't think of any other place in the Bible where a challenge is thrown out like there is about tithing.

    It is something like 'Go ahead, give your 10 % - I dare you - then see what happens in your life'.

    So yes 10%, & I can't complain.

    Russian Orthodox Church gets about 5 or 10 bucks each time that I come to service (which is once a month). Catholic church and protestant church are corrupted and shall get nothing from me

    At least 10%. The Lord has blessed my wife and I immeasurably and the least we feel we can do in regards to tithing is 10%.

    I give Nothing, but my parents were very generous. When mom and pop came to this country back in early 1955 they had $50 cash and train tickets to Los Angeles provided to them by one of the Catholic charitable organizations. They never forgot that and being deeply religious people, gave generously to the church all during their lives. After their deaths their estate was worth a considerable amount of money and instructions were given to me to donate a LARGE amount of cash to a series of Catholic charitable groups. I did this because not honoring their wishes would have been no different than stealing that money.

    to a church ... -0-... most are too corrupt for me ,,why should I buy the preacher a new Rolex ,,I give 10 to 15% to different charities mostly ones helping children and homeless plus I donate alot of time and material to different groups like habitat for humanity

    My choir is the Western Meadowlark.

    I've just never had any use for mortal men who want to get between me and my God. I figure if God has a message for me, He'll get ahold of me directly and probably won't have to leave a message with anyone.

    So I don't have any to pay any cover charge.
