Who prefers their rimfires to centerfires?

    Well, I like them being cheaper to shoot...and less recoil and noise, but sometimes I enjoy the recoil and noise that I just can't get from a rimfire. Reckon I likes'em both, more or less.[^][:p]

    I like them all, and rimfires especially. The old Stevens favorite, and I have a Win 67a I really like.

    I kinda changed my collecting from milsurps to rimfire a few years ago because I found my wife & daughter were much more willing to go shooting w/me with them.

    Well, I like them being cheaper to shoot...and less recoil and noise, but sometimes I enjoy the recoil and noise that I just can't get from a rimfire. Reckon I likes'em both, more or less.

    Heck yes, I am a rimfire fan.
    I own many guns, but by far my favorite to shoot is this one:
    I've probably put more rounds through it than all my others combined.

    Big time rimfire fan...fun and cheap to shoot

    Only modern rimfire I am lacking is the 17M2...got the 22 Short, Long and LR covered as well as 22 Mag and 17HMR

    I shoot about 1,500 - 2,000 rounds of 17 HMR at praire dogs per season. On a nice day I get 70, and have measured my kills at 260 yards. I have a 22 Mag Marlin 25MN that can't kill a basketball at 200. I have a Marlin 39A that shoots 1 1/2 inches at 100 yards benched.

    I started last year with 1200-1500 rounds of 223, and I didn't use more than 150.

    SAKO QUAD [:D] Need I say more, I love it. I love rimfire, next gun will be GSG-5, MP5 copy .22LR.

    The only thing I don't like about the rimfire is can't load for it.

    like rimfires of all flavors...tossup between cz kadet, izh335, & 89 gold standard for target pistol...rechambered some different ones to 22 mag...many mouseguns to tinker with...& love win9422...ruger revolvers...try aquila 22lr supmaxhivel for plinking & varmints at 1750fps....have fun!!!!

    Remington Nylon 66, Winchester 77, Winchester 9422, Henry Golden Boy, Blued Henry, Three Colt "Peacemakers", Ruger Single Six 3-screw flattop, Winchester 62A and two Marlin 39a's. Yup, I love my .22's. They're fun, cheap and easy - just like my high school girlfriend. [:D]

    i don't believe iv'e had more fun from any other rifle than my .22 and its killed more game than any other. i like it like i like a good woman, fun and cheap[;)][:D][:D][:D]

    When I get to missing recoil in my 22's, I fire off ten or so rounds from my 8mm Turk and it puts me back in the mood. Tom
