Local laws allow me to keep in my home any or all of them, however, only shotguns are permitted for "urban defense".

Actually, I think those "Survival Guys" are comical. That aside, I don't agree with him.

I like how he talks about home defense and then mentions hitting people 200 yards away......must have a big house.

Heck it is 200 yards just to the foot of my bed. Near a quarter mile to the bed room door. My house is so big I have to leave the bedroom at 4:00 to get to the garage in time to drive to work.

I keep a .50BMG as my home defense gun.

A big "WOOF!" ... behind a locked security gate.

Once inside, I'd serve him up a Defender 1200
    (without a search light affixed).

... in California, best to shoot them head on -
I follow the old procedure of yelling "HEY YOU!"
first, and then ALWAYS press a screw driver or a
kitchen knife into their thoroughly dead and cooling
hand ... for an extra good 'courtroom measure!'

    Just my 2?.

WTH a scoped AR rifle for home defense, all the way down to a single shot 410. So what he is saying is that any firearm is good for home defense?[:o)]

I wonder why he didnt consider recommending any handguns. He could of saved people a lot of time by just saying "go pickup a 12 gauge shotgun"

A person should be informed before he gives advice that important. Give me a 12 guage pump anytime!

I think this moron just dragged out his entire collection is what it amounts to.

I agree, single shot shotgun or a bolt action .22 to start- even though he FIRST said a Ruger 10/22- is a good choice. After that, whatever the heck you want. I sure ain't gonnna use a 30/30 or Weatherby for home defense! And the idiot didn't even seem to be able to keep the difference between chamber and magazine straight- "oh look this one still has one in the chamber from last hunting season. Er, in the magazine, 2 in the magazine. None in the chamber. Yup, two in the chamber." Okaaaaaaaaay. So you drive around with a Weatherby loaded in your truck bed yes?

why he would reccomend any gun with a scope on it for home defense is beyond me. And a 30/30? come on.

I think he's talking more about an SHTF situation and holding the line against looters

I kind of got that a little from what he was talking about, should have a different title on his video then.

  • Raupleminze
I agree the title should have been "D-bag shows off his gun collection"

This guy is confusing "home defense" with an "urban zombie horde" type scenario. Rifles are a poor choice for home defense (especially bolt action or lever action).

He was talking about shooting threats at 200 yards for home defense?

I wouldn't trust my 10/22 for home defense.

In the long run, guys like him do more harm than Schumer. I run into way too many like him. Still, he has a right to his opinions and I'm sure he's a hard working guy who obeys our miriad of gun laws. Yeah I caught the chambered round in the AK - Bad.
