M1 Garand stock
I know I asked before a couple of months ago but does any one have a beat up old Garand stock or metal parts laying around they want to get rid of or trade for? I plan on chopping it up so I am not looking for nice one.
I see one place has new ones with no metal listed for $100 right now but I was hoping to be under that.

I am thinking about replacing the UGLY stock on my Garand. I found a company on the web. http://www.sarcoinc.com/ has anyone purchased a M1 stock from them Please give me some feed back.

I dont know any specifics, people used to joke about the "charecter heavy " condition of some SARCO stuff on 1919a4.com. These migh be great, I don't know. would love to hear opinions if you get one
Also look at Fred in shotgun news that sells the m14 stuff. I have heard the Boyd Boys ones are a Pain in the butt, not really drop in

There's always fulton armory.com. They carry new stocks for the Garand. 0 -
CMP (Civilian Marksmnship Program) has new USA made stocks in finished condition. CMP, I would trust for good quality.
