Where is the Colt Leadership?
Why can't Colt see they are missing out on a fortune by not producing revolvers?
With their diamandbacks breaking 2 grand and pythons going for 5 Grand Colt could be making a fortune if they fired up the revolver manufacturing again[:o)]

...not only revolvers, look at some of the poop they have put on the market the last few years. I have no idea where their head is at, oh!, maybe I do...pretty dark up there I bet...[;)]

Colt is pretty much dead.
Quality has gone down hill, no more deep blue like in the 60's

from what i hear you can get custom shop revolvers in the python and anaconda dont know about the smaller ones though,but be ready to empty your bank account know doubt.[:D] 0 -
taurus probably took most of their business - colt lost their edge when they jacked the prices years ago 0 -

why didn't they bring back the "AR-15" marked rifles with bayo lugs and flash hiders after the '94 AWB expired??
Bushmaster has eaten up the lion's share of what was Colt's market share.....
A replica M16A1 "AR15A1" duplicate of the Vietnam era M16 would have been a good idea, or how about a semi only 16" barrel "M4" marked carbine??

From I what I have read Colt is very seriously looking at producing revolvers again!!!
I just hope they don't produce them with with SNAKE logos and ruin that collectable market....0 -
according to the 26th yea i know its old blue book it says,python elite- is available by custom order only through the colt custom shop.is my book just outdated by 2yrs or does anyone have a newer one to look in{gettin the new one in april} not really sure the status on these? it also says the anaconda beginning 2002 is only available thru the custom shop 0 -
you cant bring back the guns unless you .........
......bring back the craftsmen.
and they are gone my friends. and if they did come back, they would never be the same under the new management. theyd quit.
best leave them to their retirements. besides, itsfun to kick rocks to find them working in their garages all around connecticut. i know, ive met handfuls that way. and they are still MASTERS.0 -

i wasnt sure about it, im sure you are right, its sad to think about the craftsmanship that was lost in thier closing[V]i googled colt custom shop and it list the colt python elite on there, now what?0 -

Right now they have a big contract with the new Iraqi army. I think the first order is 50,000 m16s. 0
