Live-and-let live/tolerance made USA vulnerable
Real Americans always try to live-and-let-live. While we were being "tolerant" the enemies of our culture used our courts to attack us and attack our culture. It was not enough to live quietly with the "alternate lifestyle-fringe group-racist group" crowd. These morons had to go on the offensive. Now it is time to fight back.

You might think so, Highball, if you only believe what the MSM has told you.
Both the MSM and the managing Bureaucrapps that are in top positions of our political system will tell you that, but I have been a Minuteman for over three years now, and I know better. Any Minuteman who has stood watch on the Borders, or who has reported businesses knows that Monitemen are working and working well. Whenever the MSM or the top Brass report the arrests of Illegals, it is reported simply as an arrest, or maybe as "Citizen Complaints led to the arrests" - that way, noone gets mad or embarrassed by Minutemen reports. Management/politicos don't want to give us credit, and we don't care - we just want the Borders secured.
I have had two or three Border Agents a weekend come up to my car and thank us for what we are doing, and tell us that we are a "Force Multiplier" - that with us, in our regular civilian vehicles, the Illegal Aliens don't know who is watching them, and the flow is slowed, and the arrests are up.
Since its founding, whenever our Country has been under attack, it was a MINORITY of Citizens who "Stood Up" and started action to protect our interests, never a majority. This invasion is a serious assault on our Borders, our Language, and our Culture, to lift a phrase from one of my favorite Commentators, and I am Standing Up. Will you join us?

I couldn't join the minutemen and came to that conclusion long ago. I'd shoot the criminals.
Then the Fed's would have to shoot me. They couldn't let the story get out that a retired military now Federal Employee took time off to protect his country and actually did it.
A murder charge would never stick .....therefor they would have to kill me to keep others from doing it.0 -

Yeah sure - Here's a real fun one:
We had assigned two Grandmotherly types to watch "Peace Arch Park" up here in Washington State. It sits right on the borderline. There is a suburban house farm right North of the park - looks like just about any neighborhood park, with houses and driveways on the other side of the street (when you are in the park, looking North).
Well, a "family" exfitrated from the streets North, and proceeded to set up a picnic spread. The kids ran and shouted, and they had a great time. "Family" members came and went from two vans parked against the curb on the Canada side. During the festivities, someone from the party befriended the Grannies, and invited them to talk and visited with them. During the conversation, one of the Grannies slipped away to go powder her nose. While she was away, she placed a call to the BP, cause she was sure that something else was going on - things had been said that didn't match up, and the stories just didn't make sense. Well, the BP called Canadian Constabulary (I don't know if they were mounties or other) and arrests were made. Turns out it was one of the biggest drug busts in WA history - both vans were full of drugs, and it was a meet waiting to happen - both factions of the deal were arrested.
Those lil grannies were WA Minutemen. No credit was given, in the news or MSM. The bust was reported, but MM were not mentioned.

Not, Sir, because I wish to diss you..or the organization. A laudable thing, what you are trying to do.
No...my belief is that while you well may gain a bit of traction...may even make a bit of headway against the enemies we face..as you break your heart doing that..those enemies have flanked you and made HUGE gains in some other sector of the precious intangible we call freedom.
We have traveled entirely too far down the road for citizen activism to make much difference..they have learned how to be the tar baby..your fists get stuck in the courts, in the system, in the inertia of having to make a living.and pretty soon they take away what you were fighting for.ANYWAY.
No.the only recourse is for citizens to step back and give the power-mad Elites their head.
Allow them to push as fast as they wish to.in the hopes that they push far enough so that even the STUPIDIST among us finally understand.
THEN.and only then..will there be the force of will to do something about the Elite.0 -

I don't know how old you are...but for ME...it already HAS happened.
I have watched this country turn from freedom to Socialism/Fascism over the last 50 years...steadily.
I have watched grown men ..and BOYS...ME,at 11..buy a rifle out of the store..FREELY..to crawling on their bellies to do so...today.
I have cried out against it..even thought about getting into politics. I realized, however, that swimming in polluted waters does little good, if you are to remain healthy.
I have seen the steady inroads the government has made, in their pursuit of total power.
You are burning your life out, fighting one tiny tenticle of the beast..when you should be reserving your strength.0
