two new family members

I picked up my springfield 1911 .45 olive drab a few weeks ago (which took about 6 months to get here) and a guy that works for me gave me the colt eley .45 just because it would just sit in his closet. It was missing the hammer and he didn't know how to fix it nor get the part. I ordered the hammer and fixed it myself. Going to try them both out at my ranch....what do ya'll think?

Nice Colt. Is it loaded? The Springfiled is nice but I just can't get used to green guns. Enjoy! They should both be lots of fun. 0 -
I do have the colt loaded, as I do on all of my revolvers....I don't have any kids and keep them locked up in the safe. But am looking forward to a few (hundred) test shots this weekend. Sorry about the large picture....figured out how to get it on the forums now just got to get the size right. 0 -
I have the 1917 S&W .45 which is nice but I really wanted one like yours. Let us know how it shoots. 0
