The day is finally at hand......

Going to bed now. Getting up at 5:00 and taking my wife to the hospital. C-section scheduled for 7:30. Then finally our new son will be here. I can't wait to meet him, to see him, to hold him, to watch him grow into a man. You would think I'd be used to it by now but I just think I ever will be.

This week has been so much better since we got Dr. Huffman to take care of us. She has taken great care of my wife and son and I am so thankful to her for taking so much stress away. My wife has been home all week and feeling so much better.

I thank God for my family. I am a humble man but I am not a fool. I know I am rich beyond wealth. And I know who is to thank.

I also thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. It really has meant a lot that total strangers would care at all about us. It says so much for the character of the members of this forum. I am really thankful for all of you.

May God bless and keep each and every one of you always safe.

    Spent the night with my wife and new son at the hospital last night. Everything went well yesterday morning. At 7:54 we had a 5lb 2oz 18.3 inch boy. Mom and baby both are doing great.

    I'm at home tonight with two other boys (4 years old and 2 years old) to give my mother in-law a break. They have been great through all of this (my in-laws and my two boys).

    I'm heading back to the hospital tomorrow to spend a little more time with my wife and new son. Then I'll take my two older sons out for some fun. They need daddy to spend some time with them to. And truthfully daddy needs them.

    Hopefully Friday will be the day that everyone comes home. My fingers are crossed and God has definitely heard from me. I'm not sure but think he nodded his head.[:)]

    Anyway just thought I'd update y'all. Goodnight and God bless.
