Does anyone know ...
I got a question from a buyer about an item I have listed on GB ...
When I replied to him, I clicked "Reply" and the address it was sent to was <the username>user2user@gunbroker.com ... there was no other email address in the body of the email.
My reply bounced off GB and fortunately I got an auto-response from GB so I know my potential buyer didn't receive my reply.

This is an automated response. You are receiving this message because you replied to a message from another site user but your email software does not obey the SMTP Reply-To header. As a result, your reply was sent back to GunBroker.com instead of to the user you meant to send it to.
(The email program I use is Cox.net, my ISP's email program)
Please review your Sent Items box in your email software to see the email you recently replied to. (I don't keep "sent" emails)You will need to read the body of the original email you replied to in order to find the other party's email address. You will need to forward your reply directly to the other party in order to contact him.
(There was no other email address in the body of the email)
If you are looking for help with or information about GunBroker.com, please visit the Help Center section of the auction site by clicking 'Help' from the upper right side of any auction site page or by clicking the following link: http://www.gunbroker.com/support/
There was no help in the "Help Center" ...
Regards,
GunBroker.com
=============================Lastly, ... I know the forum rules about asking questions about the auction side ... and I know it will probably get poofed ...
I'm just hoping I see the response from some one can help me answer my prospective buyer before he thinks I'm ignoring him ... my experience with the "GB Help Center" is that it usually takes them a few days to respond.
(This statement, in no way should be construed as criticism ... its just a fact.)
