Got 3 doves today

First time I have shot at a flying target in about 30 years. I used about a box of shells to get the 3 tho. Looks like I need a LOT of practice. I shot at a few that were pretty far out but I should have nailed about three more that were really in range and no excuse to miss. I do find those sitting on power lines a lot easier to bring down!! Tom

    Not too bad actually..Last time I went I shot three boxes and got seven doves.

    Shot my limit today of 12 in about an hour and a half. Other hunters maxed out too. Hope the birds hang around for awhile. Going Monday evening with the .410 and some #8's... should be interesting.

    I got a bad case of bronchitis, no way i'm doing any hunting for at least a few weeks.

    I saw some tremendous shots today. Some of the younger guys, well hell, they are all younger, are crack shots. There were about 10 in the shoot and they easily bagged 200 birds today. That is a morning and evening shoot. I missed out this morning but went on the evening shoot.
    We had a front come thru about 5PM and got the first rain in about 2 months so we had to pack up and leave. They really started comming in then, 20-30 in a flight. I might have gotten lucky then, just point and shoot! I may go tomorrow evening if my buddy goes. Tom
