Notice that the story doesn't say how many of the 3000 murders involved straw purchases. Just that "some" of them did.
Dude. Seriously.
"Some" could be two.
Thanks for the link.0 -
The gun running business is thriving.[:(] 0 -
What "good" gun shows? All I see at gun shows anymore are t-shirts, beef jerky and a bunch of overpriced guns with dealers unwilling to negotiate. 0 -
there is so much stupidity in that report i don't know where to start, simple solution, they have the guns or numbers obviously to know they came from the show, so why don't they hammer of few of these buyers, but common sense the atf, and media mixes like oil and water 0 -

Yes I picked that up right off, and in fact it appeared that the dude bobbled the ball a bit when he said it. Kinda like it was a very low number that they could actually associate with those shows....Need real numbers folks!!! or STFU!!!0 -

Sadly, that seems to be what these once productive and exciting shows have become. I find myself going less and less. Now, I pretty much stick to the small, local shows, by small promoters.0 -

You got that right. I don't even go much anymore. Even the prices on reloads are more than the sales prices of new stuff in many cases.

Making a straw purchaser an accessory to the crime might dampen
