Since you were 1st I'll add my comments here...
I don't think I hate anyone but I've decided I HATE Barry Bonds. He is a crook. Even if he finds a way to get out of this and keep the "*" out of the book he will always be a crook. Baseball will forever have a black eye as far as I'm concerned for their inability/unwillingness to address the steroid issue for so long. I blame baseball, the players union, and all (and there were many) players that cheated to get ahead, but most of I blame Barry.

Baseball superstar Barry Bonds was charged Thursday with perjury and obstruction of justice for allegedly lying when he said he did not use performance-enhancing drugs.
The indictment, unsealed Thursday by federal prosecutors in San Francisco, is the culmination of a four-year federal probe into whether he lied under oath to a grand jury investigating steroid use by elite athletes.
The indictment comes three months after the 43-year-old Bonds, one of the biggest names in professional sports, passed Hank Aaron to become baseball's career home run leader, his sport's most hallowed record.

The thing that cranks me is Pete Rose "bet" on the outcome of a game. Didn't do anything to change the outcome, but "Charlie Hustle" is BANNED.......

That steroid use must run rampant in all pro sports as the pros are so muscular that they can't lift their right hand to the heart during the playing of the national anthem. And the idea that they are role models to America's youth is certainly not a ROFLMAO thought - is it? 0 -

I dont like Barry Bonds. I believe he is guilty of using steroids and of lying to the feds. However, as a tax paying American citizen who cares about issues like terrorism, organized crime, pedophiles, gangs, espionage and other serious crimes, I cant fathom how the feds can justify a 3 years investigation into a meaningless event like steroids in baseball. Can you imagine how many agents and federal attorneys worked this case ? Can you imagine how many illegal alien gang members could have been stopped at the border or rounded up inside America and deported if the feds directed their assets towards them ? Can you imagine the islamic terrorist living in Miami right now learning how to blow up a middle school and the feds are spending millions of dollards and hundreds of agents to prosecute whether Barry Bonds used a hormone to hit a baseball 12 feet farther ?
Also, this is typical federal prosecutors who cant win a case on any merit so they question you for 3 years and wait until you make a simple contradiction and then send you to jail for "perjury".
I want my federal government to go after terrorists, gang members, treaonists, child molestors, gangs and other serious criminals who hurt ME !!! I couldnt care less about guys who take steroids.0 -

I really do not like Barry as a ball player, but then again I can't stand baseball so that is not fair. But he isn't that bad as a human being. He came into the store right after the final game of the season, he was really cool to all of the salespeople and he wasn't stuck up at all. That is untill somebody started gushing over him, then he turned into a major jerk. But so would I in if that happened to me.

As much as I don't like Barry Bonds, I'm still impressed with his ability to hit home runs. No amount of steroids can give you the skill and hand/eye coordination to make proper contact with the ball. If so, we'd all be professional players instead of GB.com board members. 0 -
