TV ever get you in trouble ?
Back several years ago, I was living with my grandparents. I was around the age of 18 or 19 years old.
Anyway I was watching a little show called MASH when old hawkeye caught frank sleep'n. So him & BJ or Trapper came up with the bright idea to put franks hand in warm water, well you know what happened next, but I was just a very young man & didn't think it would work.
Anyway ole grandpa had eat'n supper & was kicked back in the ole lazy boy, took all of about 3 minutes and he was snore'n away.
When all of a sudden that little light bulb in my head clicked, & I thought to my self "lets just see if that really works" so off to the kitchen I went.
Grandma was in the kitchen reading a paper back book [she loved to read westerns] when I started running warm water in a big pan.
She said what are you fixin, I replyed "nothing, just a little test"
Well, don't make a mess or spill that, you hear. I reply'd Yes Mam & to the living room I went.
About this time a couple of friends pulled up in the drive, I invited them in to see my little test. Told them both be still & dont make noise.
Meanwhile, ole grandpa was still being a willing part of this little test. in other words he was still snore'n away.
I very carefully placed the pan of rather warm water beside his chair, eased his hand in, all the while try'n not to bust a gut.
Ok, everthing is just like hawkeye had it, now to see if it really works. So me and the audience had gathered on the couch and waited,
What seemed like only seconds , & ole grandpa's head snaped straight up and he said & I quote "Well, By-god" end quote as he jumped to his feet & headed to the bathroom, seems as though ole grandpa had done wet his self, & was none to happy about it.
Meanwhile back in the livin room 3 young fellas were rolling in the floor with laughter, I was laughing so hard I didn't notice that grandpa had returned. Now keep in mind he was born in 1898 and was a rather aged gentleman by this stage in his life, I really don't want to go into details on what happened next, but, lets just say it wasn't real pretty.
As for the little test I hole heartly blame the writers & staff of
M A S H
I didn't do any more tests on my grand dad for at least a week.

So I guess NONE of you guys ever did a little test on family that you saw on TV, My biggest problem was sometimes the family member didn't want to help.[:D][:D][:D] 0 -

I had a friend who tried that same experiment on a drunken buddy years ago at a party.Same results. It ended with three drunks in the shower and one very mad wife.0
