Yeah, that bleach and brake fluid mixture caught my eye and I made a mental note.

A friend at work says "girls are evil" Boys get easier to raise as they get older.

I figure that brake fluid must have a hydrocarbon ingredient similar to an ingredient of "Score" hair dressing. The same ingredient is probably in other hair products, but Score was what I was told about.

It is a small, self-starting incindiary bomb. Take a 35mm film canister, and fill it part way, not full up, with powdered chlorine, such as is used in swimming pools. Now fill the lid with Score hair cream. It is thick and will stay put. Put the lid on, but don't shake or upset the canister.

When ready to do your thing, give it a shake and throw it. Or just throw it and the ingredients will mix.

Having raised two boys, I knew most of those. When they were old enough to read I locked up my copy of "Anarchist Cook Book".

I also learned that a golf cart could end up with a cracked and bent frame just by sitting in the shop. Imagine that.

To that, you can add "The dish washing detergent and the dish WASHER detergent are two different things, and may not be used interchangably." [:p] 24 inches of foam in the entire kitchen.

Did anyone else have explosive fun with carbide when they were kids?

I'm not going to elaborate because the thoughts of some of my/our exploits with carbide. still cause stinging pains across my butt and legs 40+ years later.[:I][:I]

For you that never heard of or tried it.
Carbide, when small amounts of water is added produces acetylene gas, take it from there.

BTW, my boys never got to use it, they tried tide and gasoline, black powder, smokless powder. and started a few small fires and damaged some sheds with minor explosions , but scared hell out of the horses and cows and grandma

True, I have seen a muffler split by the same process of sitting in the shop.
