My son
now 8months old, likes to terrorize the animals in his walker, and is currently sleeping on my shoulder, his face has the imprint of mt shirt on his peacefull little face gawd i like being a dad

As you can see this my first post, but a long time "lurker".
I just need to tell everyone how proud I am of my oldest son
Jonathan 22. Today he took the OATH & heads to FT. KNOX on
7/05. He finished his two year degree but deceided this is something he has to do. Jonathan wanted to become a RANGER however he blew his knee out in his sr. year in HS. His plan is to go into CAV. SCOUT then onto AIRBORN ,then onto deployment.Again this was his own decision, and I have never been so proud!

gave his first interview yesterday. We had a JFL Jamboree and the local paper came up to him after his first game and asked him quite a few questions. I was very proud of the way he answered the questions. He complemented his team, and the team that they had just played. Those hours of watching SportsCenter really paid off.[:D]He is the starting Fullback and Linebacker. He is 13. 0 -

While at Ft. Knox Your son will get to meet three hills to march on. They are named Agony ,Heart Break and Misery. Full pack marching up you think your nose is going to drag the road.[:0][:D]

I spent many months at Ft. Knox. It's a place you love to hate. I am well aware of the three hills spoke about above. The only thing I voluenteered for while in basic training was getting a military drivers license. It sucked on guard duty night because you had to stay up all night to drive all the guards around but on road marches, I got to drive the deuce and 1/2 towing a water buffalo. I only had to do one road march on foot. I wish the best of luck for him. 0 -
