I mean two Martinis.
I was fascinated by the Martini rifle for years and I finally bought the one on the right at a Salt Lake show while living in Utah. A gunsmith there was building these out of those 14 gauge shotgun Martinis that were selling so cheap because nobody knew what to do with them. Decent stock with a brass butt plate and reshaped action lever. I snapped it up at $450.
It's in 45/70 caliber and wears a 30" octagon barrel. Weighs about as much as a Volvo. Shoots great. Like 3/4" groups at 50 yards with 500 grain lead bullets. Just for fun I loaded some 250 grain bullets sized .454 for the .45 Colt and they shot 1.25" groups. Makes cheap plinking loads.
The other is a .22 target model with a 29" barrel (sleeved from a larger bore) and this thing just chews the X ring out of targets at any range my eyes will let me see. Got it in an auction for $165 and it's pretty worn looking but shoots very well and is great fun.
