Toured the Sierra Bullets Plant Yesterday
Kind of a cool place ... best part was their 200 meter underground test firing bunker [:)]
I didn't realize Sierra techs work up their own loads for their manuals ... they don't smelt their own lead and copper, but they do have a lab that tests every ingot of lead and spool of copper for consistency.
Plus they give you "stuff" when you leave ... their catalog, a sticker and a cool chrome 168 HPBT keyring [:D]

kimberkid,
Not only is it a cool place to visit but it is full of extremely helpful folks who usually understand customer service and the technology of making bullets and reloading ammunition. I have found Sierra employees to be knowledgeable and responsive to the problems and questions in all of the situations that I've found myself involved in.
Great folks and great products!

Since 1990 they are in Sedalia, Missouri. Home of the State Fair, Sierra bullets and not much else. 0
