    I am a herpetologist, who manages a large reptile collection. Snakebite is one aspect I have to know about, and the literature on electroshock is unequivocal. It was tested in controlled conditions several times and did nothing. If a snake does not inject venom, and you electroshock the bite, and you get well, you are likely to proclaim a miracle cure. If you wish to test it on yourself, I have no objection, but please, please do not test it on your kids or others.

    I don't believe it comes that way.

    There was a fairly recent comprehensive article on snake bite treatment in a book called Biology of the Pit Vipers which will be available in some libraries, and probably most university libraries.

    Ah, ok, I gotcha, I was a little slow on the up take, but indeed that would be the best route of adminstration to treat that particular pain.[}:)] Thanks, I will have to look into that[8D]
