Approaching financial doom...

Is anyone here concerned about their retirement money? Not a tip, but I just sold everything and put it in short term bonds. I'm not saying this is a good idea, but last time the market too a big correction, I lost half the value in my 401(k). It took 3 years to recover.

I think I'll trade possible short term gains with stability.

  I am close enough that I am now out of stocks and making stable interest. I am looking to conserve what I have not make a killing at this point. I got out when the market was higher than at any point when I bought in, and I bought low and sold high at several points along the way. I should retire on more income than I have working, with less expenses. Gonna be some fishing done.
