My duty weapon (Springfield 1911) and my ankle gun (Para Ordinance LDA 1911). 0 -
I'm thinking about having a .22 revolver handy, but not all that sure I would ever use it ... for sure I don't want to shoot anything that would go through the walls or the floor. I think the large calibre firearms are just too big for self defense ... ever heard of collateral damage? 0 -
That's highly calssified information.[;)] 0 -
Kimber 45 ACP loaded with Silvertips. NiteSights and a light trigger. 0 -

None, guns are evil WMD's that are only designed to kill.0 -

You must be like SpanielSells then, and only keep firearm owners manuals in your house.0 -
I guess I could try to borrow a gun from my neighbors. I'll probably just call 911 and then just curl up in a fetal position and whimper till help gets here. 0 -

It has been a 7 shot, 357 magnum 686 for years, but I have just fell in love with, and will be sharing my bedroom with an S&W 1911.
[:)]
We met at about noon yesterday. I proposed at about 12:15, and she was home with me by 2:00 pm.

1911 by the bed, empty chamber and no mag in, 2 10 round mags next to it. Both the FAL and AK are in middle-of-the-house closets wtih no mags in 'em, but mags close by. Never had an issue in the house, but I've had several outside of the house... drunks thru the fence at 3am, etc. 0 -

Nope, just kidding. I've probably got enough stuff around to be able to hold out until help gets here.[:D]

Realy sounds great on all the weapons. But I cant help but wonder just
how many would have the guts to use them for the first on a human. Seen the same damn thing in combat when too many couldnt pull the trigger for
the first time to kill a enemy. Takes a bit of "getting used to" sometimes. At least for some. Dont take the taking of anoher life that
easy. Talk is cheap. Wait till you must do it as many of us had to do and see how many can do it the first time around. Body count sure aint something to be proud of as I know. Even in wartime. Dont look foreward to it.0 -
.40 Glock 22, SS KKM Precision custom barrel, 18 lb. SS spring, Streamlight/laser combo, 10 rnd clip loaded w/ Hornady 180 gr JHPs.
Around here, I would expect 99% of situations to be diffused by this without having to fire a shot. I have thought about it many times and I would certainly try to evaluate the situation as best I could before pulling the trigger.
In the outside chance somebody wants to shoot it out, all bets are off. I've shot it in the dark and the muzzle flash isn't bad at all. They will have a high powered light in their face and a laser dot determining shot placement.
I am prepared to use it (maybe video games have desensitized me), although I hope I never have to.0 -
The first line is a 70lb. catahoula cur. They make past him, I've got an 870 loaded with 00buck within reach. A Ruger Vaquero in 45LC under the mattres. A Ruger P345 in .45acp on the headboard. Wife has a Lady Smith in 9mm on her side. Too many more to mention if I make it past the bedroom[:D] 0 -
Well , what a list of stuff ...
as per Joeaf1911a1 : this may be true for some (guts enough to use t gun on a human)? but some may very well surprise us , and very few of us have done that nasty deed ! and I do Not want to guess who may/will do what needs to be done , lets leave that to the stupid criminals and hope we never find out ...........
Thanks !!!
