Charcoal or gas?
Gotta buy a new grill and I`m not sure if I should buy another charcoal one or try a gas grill. So whats your preference and why. I`m buying today by the way because the backstraps have to be done by 6pm.

The wife won out on this one. Don`t they always? We bought a nice charcoal grill from Menards.I may pick up a gas grill later if my job holds out. Thanks for all the replies. 0 -
I have both. Cheap gas grill that I got on close out at Walmart for $49 when they were making room for a new model, and a similarly priced charcoal kettle grill.
I use the gas grill more often due to the convenience, but use both at least twice a month. I also sometimes make a wood fire but the trick there is patience- gotta use good hardwood and let it burn down to coals, otherwise things are all sooty. It's a good choice if you wanna sit around a fire and have a few beers before cooking though.0 -

I have natural gas and grill at least 2 times a week, rain or shine, 52 weeks a year. I'd never mess with charcoal that often! I do have a smoker though too and for low and slow, it can't be beat. 0 -
Don't much care for smoke flavor, propane for me. 0
