Which war movie(s) do you like best?

Mine - in no particular order:

All Quiet on the Western Front: Timeless.

Kakoda: Best 'Guts' war movie!

Das Boot: Held my breath through half of it.

Pork Chop Hill: Left me speechless - every time.

Zulu: Over and over and over again.

Apocalypse Now: Brings it back.

The African Queen: My first - with Dad.

Glory: Strain/grit my teeth with the 54th all the way to the ramparts - every damned time!

Lawrence of Arabia: Another one I can watch over and over - awesome!

    Just finished watching "The Great Raid" -- can't call it the war greatest movie, but not too far, maybe just because of the story.

    I only saw one mention of "Band of Brothers" -- I really think that's the greatest, though I guess it's technically not a flick.

    "Patton", "FMJ", "Apocalypse Now", "Platoon"... Just saw "Cross of Iron" -- that was pretty good too.

    And of course there's "Rambo" and "Commando".
