17 hrm, 22 mag, 22 hornet

new at this and don't know how much crossing over is done, i asked the experts the same question.
witch is the best of these for a low end rifle.

never had a 22 hornet,22 mag rifle.but i love my 17hmr rifle.you need to look at the price of each of these ammo's where you live,availibilty of each ammo also.good luck.[:D]

.22 mag is definitly the cheapest to shoot, but has the worst of the 3 balistics.

.219 Bee will outperform the .22 Hornet. Much better rifle cartridge. Both the Hornet and the Bee lost ground when the .22-250 and .223 came around. The bee deserves to be much or popular than it ever became.

...try the 17machII. Ive known several people who started w/the 17hmr...and switched to th machII for several reasons. I THINK Marlin makes a great little semi in mach II taht is about $200 bucks...and is very accurate...cheaper ammo too...[;)]
