Hate 'em all. I pay $$ for satellite - what is that for, since everyone gets the signals anyway? Pay for equipment yes, but my monthly bill should be for content. Not for the right to descramble and then view ads!

Argh... but then, thats why the wife watches the idiot box and I'm on the computer....

My favorite caveman commercial is where the Geico Guy takes the two cavemen to an upscale restaraunt to apologize and the the first caveman orders the roast duck with the mango salsa and caveman #2 says "no thank you, I don't have much of an appetite." Whoever came up with those is a marketing genius.

I like the basketball player with the "angel and devil" on his shoulder. Devil says to dunk on the big guy and the angel says to lay back and do a hook. It end with dude slam dunking and angel saying "DO IT AGAIN, DO IT AGAIN". [}:)]

I hate the cavemen. Bunch of cry babys. Everyones out to get them, they are oppressed, the mean ole white man is not treating them right. I've heard that kind of junk from other ethnic groups all my life. I sick of hearing it. Geico s*cks.

NOT my favorite, but I find it somewhat amusing (pathetic really) that they feel the need to put a disclaimer on the FORD commercial.

"This is fantasy, cars can not really drive on buildings."

To think that is actually a necessity? [V]

Keep in mind show content, ANY show content is only supposed to capture your attention long enough to get to the commercials. The shows are not drives what television (or radio or even newspapers, for that matter). The programming is only a reason to get you in front of the ads. That's a fact.
Now, the better and more popular the show content, the more an advertiser can be charged for it. That's why there are ratings. Not to see how you're satisfied as a viewer, with your programming, but to show advertisers that they're getting their money's worth.
Once I realized that commercial media is merely a conduit for advertising, I quit being frustrated with the commercials. That would've been about 1972. In 1976, I began my career in commercial radio and, having gone over to the dark side, actually began critically viewing and listening to those ads.

I like the Geico who speaks with an English dialect, friends from Wraysbury England been visiting for their thrid year in a row, last year I got Harvey to mimick the Geicos speach, and told our guests at a sports fundraiser Harvey was the voice of the Geico.

After all our guest bought into the fun, and Harvey had worked so hard memorising his lines, my politically correct wife decided I was demeaning our Guest and ruined it by telling them he wasn't the voice of the Geico. Harvey in great form responded: "well so much for my new career as a talking Geico".

I also like the Jacks Links, especialy the one where they dart the guy out of the chopper and he wakes up with cow tag in his ear, but the messin with sasquatch ones are good too.

all you cable subscribers out there actually pay twice... once on the monthly bill, once by watching the ads... even if you don't watch them, I bet your kids do...

Did I mention Time Warner used illegal aliens (I mean "Day Laborers") to install my cable... I don't watch or subscribe though... Here in Houston, there's plenty of channels to view off the Rabbit Ears...

The Geico marketing group must be geniuses, cause all Geico commercials are funny.

The actor doing the Geico voice is Australian, which is funny to me because day geckos are not found in Australia.
