OK to mail ammo?
I want to give-away a box of CCI .17HMR "TnT"'s they are hollow points.
I was just wondering if it'll be ok to mail them out to the winner.
I'll be doing the give-away when i hit 2000 posts.[:D]
PS. It's a 50 round box,BTW...

Not by USPS!
You must ship it by common carrier (ie: UPS, FedEx Ground) and it must go through a main hub.0 -
It must also bear a label saying "ORM-D Small arms ammunition." 0 -

When I gave away the 1903 on here It took me nearly a month to get it delivered...waithing on FFL and I had no Idea... so I had to get info fron GRD ans others here to get the job done. Glad I went through the process though... I say do it for the learning experience...
I had a pleasent surprise at FedEx... left gun in the truck and went in to talk the ladies in the combination Flower shop/FedEx.
All Five women came over to talk and all five were progun!!! Boss lady said she would help me anytime and was glad to go through process as well as it was her 1st shipment of a firearn too!! I was really tickled with these ladies...0 -
IF you ship UPS you must go to a UPS terminal, their stores in Staples and such will not take firearms. I think they will not take ammo either. 0
