What with the 9417. It is rare to see one go for less than a grand. I would love to own one but the can keep them for that price.

    Might want to look into a 4708.5, they go for about half of that.

    Yeah, I have 2 - one walnut and one synthetic.

    I like them twice as much as the 9417.

    9417's were only made for a year or so. Winchester didnt make very many so the price on them have gone up higher than say the 9422. Still, anything with winchester written on the side of it is going to continue to increase in value, especially with all the new winchester collectors.
