    The ongoing drought in the area has caused lake levels to fall and uncover lots of things. This was found along the shore of Lake Nacogdoches in east Texas.

    Any guesses on what this 4 ft. diameter item is?

    looks like one of those "moat" things you sometimes find around sculptures, etc. the light and its wiring are waterproof, so you can see it at night. there's another one around the corner to illuminate the other side.

    OK, time is up and HBBG will not have to spurn anyone.

    This is the corner of the observation deck at the University of Texas Tower in Austin, where sniper Charles Whitman met his end from a couple of blasts of 00 buck and a few rounds of .38.

    The drain is where he drained.
