There's always been alot of talk about a race war in the USA. Do you really think it will happen? If so, what will it take to trigger it?

If society breaks down to a point where a race war could be imaginable I don't think your race will be the priority for which you will be fighting.

If the lowest class of black folks ever get together, without killing each other, which seems to be one of the things they do best, they'll kill affluent black folks just as well as anyone else.
Look only to Africa, and it's wonderful, stable, productive, self-sufficient, peaceful, just, serene, clean, disease-free and technologially advanced countries for a clue.

I do see a war coming. Race based to an extent but it will not start as a black -v- white situation. I see it starting in the south and southwest as an American -v- illegal situation.
The people in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona are getting fed up with the damage being done by illegals cutting across ranches, farms, hunting property and not to mention the crime increase in these areas. The illegals are pushing their limits and the time is going to come when these states stand up and tell the Feds where to get off and start taking care of the situation themselves.

When the Muslems radicalize enough blacks and finance some planned operations we will see some action. I question though how many will be willing to wear explosive belts to make their points.
A recession with cutbacks may trigger it.
I've been suspicious of these fires ; easy opportunities to take advantage of vulnerabilities reported by our weather stations.0 -

Sorry, but the whole notion of a race war is for folks who wished they lived in the Balkans instead of the USA.
Wanna shoot it out with some minorities? The chaos I see starts, soon, with blacks and whites uniting to whack the criminal mexicans. That will take a couple of years, and may lead to a black/white American brotherhood.

As a white guy, walk alone through an all black neighborhood late some night and see what happens to you. You can try the same experiment using a black guy walking through an all white neighborhood to see what happens. But you better do the black guy experiment first. Because after you walk through the all black neighborhood, you most likely won't be in any condition to observe the black guy experiment.

Kodiak - I think that it won't depend on skin color, but rather which side of the line you're on. My Elder Daughter was adopted by me, and is half Mexican. I know where she'd be standing, kneeling or prone, and which direction she would be shooting.
My Daughter-in-Law is a German National, and I know which direction she would be shooting, also.
My Son-in-Law is a British National of South African descent, and he would be alongside me.
It's not so much the color as the beliefs we hold.
