I'll be in Minneapolis for the next three days,
looks like the Owatonna store is the nearest.

Always wanted to go, perhaps this week

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! the rogers location is MUY MUY CLOSER. From the MSP airport..is about 45min-1hr (at most).

from certain PARTS of msp/ st paul is 20-30min..(right off I-94)

Went to the one in East Grand Forks, MN last week. Wasn't impressed. Overpriced, overcrowded, and understocked (at least firearms wise). It's just a giant tourist trap. Thankfully, I didn't get trapped.

GRAND FORKS IS NOT PART OF MN

Forgot to add how they only have one sign on Hwy 2 for Cabellas, and how I got us lost in Grand Forks looking for it. I can't believe I missed two bronze moose fighting.

There's 2 signs on Hwy 2. One on the east side of East Grand Forks, and one on the west side of East Grand Forks.

We're getting a Cabelas in Denver this summer. I can't wait -- never been in one, but I love their catalogs. They're going to build it somewhat close to Bass Pro, which I also love.

Methinks my wallet is in for a shocker...

I think they have nice stores, yes they can be overpriced at times. But they do have nice stuff and a nice selection. Sometimes people dont like any sort of store and arent happy unless they get something for a deal or free.

I visit quite often but rarely buy. The Scheels store in Grand Fork had much better prices, HAD being the operative work. Since Cabela's has come to EGF Scheels has been able to RAISE their prices and still be competitive (under) with Cabela's. Kind of a lose..lose for the consumer. Cabela's sales aren't really much of a sale except maybe their big tent sales. About the only time I buy from Cabela's is if I can't find it elsewhere or get one of their $10 gift cards/coupons.

Can be pricy, watch for sales. Been doing business with them for years, they always settle any problems I have had in the passed.Know your brand names and prices, you can find a grood product at a fair price. They get my product to my door step in two to three days.

One great thing about Cabela's is that they do not force you inside and do not force you to buy. If you don't like them don't go there.

I like them. I go there. I buy some stuff and use their credit card and get more stuff free.

It's gonna be in Wheatridge. Can't wait till I move back home. Like I said, they have the best ammo prices for a brick and mortar that I've seen anywhere.

Jeez, you already have one in Sidney which is just up the road 90 minutes or so. I drive to that one from New Mexico, and it is too far for Denverites? Must be that Boulder influence.
